ProjectsSigns of the Times
When we are finally able to get back to the office, we’re going to have a lot to remember. Wear your mask, wash your hands, keep your distance, don’t touch that orange! (Actually, that orange is probably going away). Adapting to a new normal in our old work environments is going to take some getting used to. As part of O+A’s ongoing effort to develop design strategies for the post-pandemic workplace the graphic artists at our Brand Studio have created helpful, friendly reminders of all the stuff we will need to keep in mind as we’re coming back to work. These posters are a small part of a much deeper dive into the changing work environment, the results of which we will soon unveil in a detailed guide. O+A is blessed to have graphic designers with strong individual aesthetics. We asked Elizabeth Vereker, Paulina McFarland, Chelsea Hedrick, Sarah Hotchin and Minnee Pham to do their own versions of the prompts and warnings that will inevitably be part of our working lives until this crisis is behind us. If it’s the duty of all artists to turn crisis into something that lifts the spirit, we think our poster artists have done that here. Each poster is formatted 8.5 x 11 for easy printing and wheat pasting around your office—or your home. And yes, we understand that may be the same thing right now. We’re rolling these out one designer at a time.
